Steve Madden will gladly authorize returns of UNWORN MERCHANDISE within 30 days of receipt of your order. Please track your order to file a return request and obtain a return shipping label to use to mail your items back to us. This label is a prepaid shipping label for the United States Postal Service. Shipping charges are not refundable and there is a $6.95 per item fee that covers restocking and postage back to the warehouse. Returns will be refunded in the original method of payment. Your return request must be made within 30 days of when your order was delivered and we must receive the merchandise back at the warehouse within 45 days of when the authorization was issued. Do not send items back through other means or without obtaining a return authorization as your package may be sent back to you. You may request a return online by clicking track your order, via phone 1-888-762-3336, email info@stevemaddendirect.com or by live chat. Merchandise purchased online must be returned to the website and can not be returned or exchanged at a Steve Madden retail store. All refused shipments will be charged double the shipping fee to cover transportation costs both ways. This amount will not be refunded to your credit card.

PLEASE NOTE: CLEARANCE ITEMS MAY NOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED.  All purchases are final on clearance items.

Steve Madden guarantees against manufacturer's defects within 60 days of purchase. Regular wear and tear does not qualify. If you feel the shoes are defective and were purchased from this website, please contact us by emailing info@stevemaddendirect.com or calling us at 1-888-SMADDEN.


For International Orders, please email or call us to receive a return authorization number. Ship the shoes back to us using a courier service that provides a tracking number. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the shoes back to us. As with domestic orders, shipping charges are not refundable and there is a $6.95 per pair restocking fee. Returns will be refunded in the original method of payment. However, please note that all refused shipments will be charged $59.90 to cover shipping costs both ways. This will not be refunded to your credit card.

We do not do exchanges. Our reasoning is simple. Our products are in high demand and if you send back the item you want for an exchange, there is no guarantee we will have what you want at that time. Therefore we suggest you place a new order for the style color you want and then call customer service at 1-888-762-3336 to get return authorization and a prepaid USPS mailing label to send the item back to us as a return.  When you call customer service please have your new order number handy so they can file the return as an exchange and a full refund will be issued once the merchandise is received back at our warehouse.
