Nobody embodies the “New York hustle” better than Vicki Ho. Working full time in one of the toughest jobs in the fashion industry as a Fashion Publicist and DJing the best turn up parties by night, she somehow found time to co-found a bi-annual magazine, Banana, that focuses on contemporary asian culture. She’s the definition of a force to be reckoned with.

Name: Vicki Ho // @_vickivibe
Occupation: Fashion Publicist
Side hustle: Co-founder of Banana magazine, a bi-annual print publication about contemporary and creative Asian culture. I also DJ when I have time under the name VICKIVIBE.
Last thing you Googled? 'Yas bitch yas lyrics'
Style icon? No one really comes to mind tbh
Favorite item in your closet? My Perfecto leather jacket from Schott USA. I bought it at a major discount, and the quality and craftsmanship is unparalleled. I wear it almost everyday to build a good wear in the leather.
Favorite place to shop? I mostly shop online these days so I would say TheRealReal.com
What’s your vice? I'm a workaholic
Who do you Insta-Stalk? @girinjang - she's one of the sickest choreographers in Korea I discovered on YouTube. A true baddie.
Best place to find inspiration? Anywhere over drinks with friends. That's how I got inspired to start Banana after all!
Celebrity crush? Ryan Gosling is bae 4 lyfe
How do you describe your style? Layers of chill
Favorite decade? The 00s because hello the Y2K scare, boy bands and Seth Cohen were everything.
Who’s on your playlist? All the talented producers, DJs and musicians under the Soulection music label. Esta, J-Louis and Elhae to name a few.
What’s your biggest accomplishment so far? Starting my own magazine that people really enjoy and support
What do you hope to accomplish in the next year? Keep bringing Banana magazine to the next level and building it as a known brand and voice in the creative community.
Where can we find you on a Friday night? I save my turn up nights for Saturday's so I'm most likely decompressing at home with a big bowl of noodles and HBO Go.
Drink of choice? Bloody Mary's in the day, Micheladas at night!
Who’s on YOUR radar? DJ So Super Sam! One of the coolest DJs I know. Watching Sam kill it in her craft and doing big things, while being a complete weirdo on Snapchat is pretty impressive.
