Fronted by the extraordinary Chloe Chaidez, Kitten has drawn ecstatic praise for their rejuvenation of classic post punk and New Wave pop.  While their 2012 “CUT IT OUT” EP showcases the band’s dynamic range from considered near-ballads to epic walls of sound, the six-songs really only give a glimpse of what’s to come.  Chloe is back in the studio - along with bandmates Waylon Rector (guitars), Lukas Frank (drums), and Bryan DeLeon (keyboards) – putting the final touches on a new EP, their label debut for Elektra Records, with an eye toward a full length release next year.  Along with high-profile support slots for Paramore , No Doubt, and Charli XCX, Kitten’s live performances have a confident sense of self and identity that audiences can feel.  Founded in 2010, Kitten first made waves with their independently released debut EP, “SUNDAY SCHOOL.”
