For your convenience, we accept returns for items purchased at Steven and Steve Madden stores (only stores in the USA excluding Colorado and Utah locations and Steve Madden Outlets). We gladly accept returns of unworn merchandise within 30 days of delivery.
You may obtain return authorization via phone, Live Chat, e-mail or by signing into your account and going into your order. The authorization requests must be made within 30 days from when your order is delivered.
Shipping charges are not refundable and there is a $6.95 per order return fee that covers restocking and postage back to the warehouse. Clearance items and earring purchases cannot be returned or exchanged.

For your convenience, we accept online returns at Steven and Steve Madden stores (only stores in the USA excluding Colorado and Utah locations). We gladly accept returns of unworn merchandise within 30 days of delivery. This excludes Apparel items. Clearance items and earrings may not be returned or exchanged. All handbags and accessories must have original tags attached. Take the merchandise in its original packaging and the packing slip from the shipping carton to the store. Click here to find a store near you. Returns will be refunded to the original method of payment or as store credit.
Steve Madden will gladly authorize returns of UNWORN Merchandise within 30 days of receipt of your order. Please ‘Sign In’ to your account and click the ‘Generate Return Label’ under ‘My Account’. There you can request to return the merchandise and a pre-paid return label will be emailed to you. You may drop the package at any FedEx location or you may give the package to the United States Post Office. Shipping charges are not refundable and there is a $6.95 per order return fee that covers restocking and postage back to the warehouse. Returns will be refunded in the original method of payment. Your return request must be made within 30 days of when your order was delivered and we must receive the merchandise back at the warehouse within 15 days of when the authorization was issued. Do not send items back through other means or without obtaining a return authorization as your package may be sent back to you. You may request a return online by signing into your account, via phone 1-888-762-3336, email firstname.lastname@example.org or by live chat. Usual turnaround time is 1-2 weeks from time shipped to when refund is issued.
PLEASE NOTE: Clearance Items and Earrings may not be returned or exchanged. All purchases are final on Clearance items and Earrings.
Gift Cards and Electronic Gift Cards are also final sale and cannot be returned or refunded except where prohibited by law.
We do not do exchanges. Our reasoning is simple. Our products are in high demand and if you send back the item you want to exchange, there is no guarantee we will have what you want at that time. Therefore we suggest you place a new order for the style color you want and then call customer service at 1-888-762-3336 to get return authorization and a prepaid FedEx shipping label to send the original item back to us as a return. When you call customer service please have your new order number handy so they can file the return as an exchange and a full refund will be issued once the merchandise is received back at our warehouse.
