SM PASS is the premier loyalty and rewards program. It's free to join and just by joining you get free 2nd Day shipping on all your orders over $50*.  It also allows you to earn points based on purchases and everyday activities like interacting with us on Facebook and Twitter, writing product reviews, and so much more. You can then use your points, which act like currency to get exclusive rewards! Do I need a account in order to sign up for SM PASS?

Yes, all members of SM PASS must also have a valid account. If you do not have an account, click here. It is free to sign up for an account; there is no requirement to make any payment or purchase or to provide any credit card information to sign up for an account.

What information do I need to provide to join SM PASS?

To join SM PASS, you must provide the following information: first and last name, email address, phone number and zip code. It's that simple. There is no requirement to make any payment or purchase or to provide any credit card information in order to join.

Phone number will only be used for in-store account lookup. For more information on how we use the information that you provide to us, please visit the SM PASS Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions of Participation and the Steve Madden Privacy Policy.

How many points will I earn when making a purchase at Steve Madden stores or

You will earn 5 points for every dollar spent at Steve Madden stores, Steve Madden outlets, or at (exclusive of gift card purchases, taxes, shipping and handling charges and any other fees). For purposes of calculating the number of points earned, points will be awarded based upon the actual price that you paid for your purchase, rounded to the nearest whole dollar. Be sure to check additional ways to earn points on your program dashboard page.

How do I redeem my points for a reward?

Once you have enough points to redeem a reward, simply select the reward, click the "Continue" or "Get this Reward" button located on the reward detail page, and then follow the checkout instructions. You will receive a confirmation email when the transaction is complete.

Digital rewards will be included on the confirmation page as well as your History page, while any physical or other rewards will be mailed out to the address you provided. In the event we need to provide you with further instructions, you will receive a separate email from a Steve Madden representative.

Can I transfer my points or rewards to another member?

No, you cannot transfer (or sell) points or redeemed rewards to anyone else in the program.

How many rewards can I redeem at once?

You may redeem multiple rewards one at a time. Some rewards are limited to a certain number of redemptions per user, so please read the Additional Info located within each reward detail page.

Can I return a reward I redeemed?

If you change your mind about a reward you've redeemed, you will not be able to return it.

How long will it take for my reward to arrive?

Depending on what your reward is, the time it takes to ship varies. Digital rewards and downloads will be available immediately, while all other rewards typically take three to six weeks to arrive. If it's been more than that, email us or call 1-888-526-2881.

How can I connect (or disconnect) my rewards account to my Social Networks?

In order to start earning points for your online activities on the social networks, you'll need to sync your rewards account. Head over to the program dashboard page and connect to all available social networks for points!

I've already connected my Social Networking accounts. How do I start earning points?

Now that you've successfully synced your social networking and rewards accounts, show your support and start earning points by simply liking and following us on sites like Facebook and Twitter! You'll earn 100 points each for following us on Facebook and Twitter. Check out the program dashboard page and learn how to get started!

Disconnecting Social Networks: If for some reason you want to disconnect your social networking accounts from the program, simply click the "Disconnect" link in the same section. If you earned SM PASS points by connecting to a social media network as provided for on the SM PASS activities page, your points will not be deducted if you decide to disconnect from that social media network in the future. However, if you decide to connect another account, or reconnect, no additional points are earned.

Twitter: How do I get points for Twitter activities?

First, connect your Twitter account and follow @SteveMadden on Twitter, then retweet one of our statuses from your computer or mobile device or use one of our participating hashtags in your next tweet and earn points instantly! You don't even need to be logged into the program to do so. However, you will NOT earn points for retweeting a status that was published prior to the date you signed up for the program. Also, you will only get point credit for one (1) retweet of any eligible status; no multiple retweets of the same status is allowed for point credit.

Please note we do not award points for @mentions, but feel free to start up a conversation with us anyway!

Twitter: How come my Twitter retweet points aren't registering?

At this time, you cannot earn points for any Twitter retweets if your Twitter account is private. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Facebook: Which Facebook activities can I earn points for?

When it comes to Facebook, we can only award you points for Liking the official Steve Madden page.

Why am I receiving Steve Madden emails?

When you opted in to SM PASS, you also opted in to receive marketing emails from Steve Madden. But don't worry, you can unsubscribe at any time.

How do I unsubscribe from Steve Madden marketing emails?

You may opt-out of receiving Steven Madden marketing emails at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in the email to manage your preferences. You can choose to unsubscribe from all emails or elect to only receive loyalty emails: communications concerning your membership account and other service-related communications. I'm having trouble earning points for my activities. Who can I contact?

If you're having trouble accruing points, please contact a customer support representative by email at or by telephone at 1-888-526-2881, seven (7) days a week, between the hours of 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM Eastern Time.

Can I earn points for all Rewards activities on my mobile or tablet browser?

You can earn points for most web-based activities on a mobile device but you will need to disable 'private browsing' on your mobile browser. Check your mobile browser settings on your phone to ensure it will always accept cookies.

Is it possible for me to lose points?

You will lose points for returning item(s) from an order for which you initially earned points.

Do I have to be logged in to SM PASS to receive points for my online purchases?

Yes. Once you complete a transaction on, the check-out confirmation page will display how many points you've earned and those points will be added to your SM PASS account. Points cannot be added retroactively for orders that have already been placed.

Do I get points for Steve Madden in-store purchases?

Yes. By providing the store associate with one of the following: email address, phone number, first & last name, or showing your loyalty ID using the mobile app you will earn points for your purchase.

Which products earn me points?

All Steve Madden products are eligible to earn points. Please note that you will not earn points for the purchase of Gift Cards.

Are points awarded based on the original price or discounted price of what I purchase?

Points awarded are based on the actual price you paid for a product, less taxes, shipping and handling charges and any other fees. Please note that you will not earn points for the purchase of Gift Cards.

Do my points ever expire?

Yes, your redeemable points will expire if you do not complete a qualifying activity (does not have to be a purchase) within a 12-month period. Once you complete a qualifying activity, the 12 month time period is reset. Log in to your account, click the SM PASS section, and view ways to earn points. Please note that the qualifying activities are subject to change at any time, so check back often.

Do any rewards I've redeemed have expiration dates?

Yes, some rewards may expire. Be sure to check the details when selecting your reward for any information regarding any expiration dates. $10, $25, and $50 off rewards expire 60 days from date of issuance.

What purchases can my $10, $25, and $50 rewards be applied to?

$10, $25, and $50 rewards can be applied to in-store or online purchases. The merchandise subtotal needs to be equal to or greater than the reward value. Rewards cannot be applied to taxes, shipping and handling charges, or any other fees. Please also note that dollar-off rewards are limited to three (3) per order/transaction (for example, if you have multiple $10 rewards, you may only use up to three (3) of those $10 rewards per order/transaction, for a maximum total of $30 off for that order/transaction).

What if I used a reward and the item is returned?

If an item is returned, the value of the reward will be returned in points to your loyalty account. If the item is exchanged, the reward amount can be reapplied to your new purchase.

What happens if Steve Madden cannot fulfill my order and a reward was used?

The value of the reward will be refunded in points to your loyalty account.

I just bought a bunch of cool items at Steve Madden! Can I get points for past purchases?

No, points are only issued for purchases after the official launch of the program, and once a member has enrolled into SM PASS.

Will I pay for shipping when I redeem my SM PASS reward on

You must pay any applicable shipping and handling fees for products redeemed with your SM PASS reward. Please check if any shipping promotions apply to your purchase upon redemption.

I don't want to be a part of the Steve Madden Pass program any longer - how can I cancel my membership?

We're sorry to see you leave, but if you no longer want to be a part of the SM PASS program please contact our customer service team at 1-888-526-2881, 7 days a week, 9am-10pm ET and they can assist you.

Can my SM PASS membership be terminated?

We can terminate any member from the SM PASS program, in our sole discretion, for any reason including, but not limited to, a member's failure to comply with the SM PASS Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions of Participation.

If my membership is cancelled or terminated, what happens to the points that I already earned?

If your membership is cancelled or terminated, points and benefits in your SM PASS account will automatically terminate. We will advise you of the effective date of termination.

If I return an item, do I still get points?

You will lose points for returning item(s) from a purchase for which you initially received points.

How come my number of points hasn't updated on the account drop down?

Please allow approximately 24 hours after purchase or after the qualified activity has taken place for the account drop down to update.
